Overview
Classification: Feature Release Introduces the first production-supported release of the Founda Health Portal, with patient-portal enhancements, ongoing platform maintenance, and security hardening.
For customers using Founda's patient self-registration portal, this release also streamlines patient account linking and self-service password reset. Ongoing platform maintenance and security work continues across all deployments — including infrastructure upgrades and the systematic remediation of security vulnerabilities — to keep environments secure, supported, and reliable.

Founda Health Portal
This release introduces the first production-supported version of the Founda Health Portal (formerly forView), providing a modern interface for clinical workflows and patient data access.
Built on a modular architecture and a modern, fully supported technology stack, Founda Health Portal (FHP) delivers:
- A faster, more intuitive interface — improved readability, clearer filtering, and quicker access to the right patient data, with fewer clicks and less cognitive load.
- Automated, secure deployment and updates — for Kubernetes-based deployments, new features and security patches are delivered seamlessly, with minimal downtime.
- Enhanced security — modern components replace deprecated frameworks, aligning with current security and compliance standards.
- Configurable actions — customer-specific patient and document actions (for example, copying a document to a local archive) can now be configured in a controlled, governed, and auditable way, without custom HTML or JavaScript. Each action can trigger an Integration Engine (previously forConnect) flow, with configurable labels, confirmation steps, input fields, placement, and role-based access.

What's New – Germany
Patient portal account linking
Reception staff can now link a self-registered patient portal account to the corresponding patient record directly from within the Viewer. The widget presents a side-by-side comparison of the portal account and the patient record before staff confirm the link, and every link attempt is recorded in the audit log.

Reception staff can verify and link a patient's self-registered portal account without leaving the viewer or performing manual, out-of-system steps — making patient self-registration faster, safer, and fully auditable.
Self-service password reset
Users who forget their password can now reset it themselves directly from the login screen. A "Forgot password" link sends a reset email, allowing users to set a new password without contacting support.

Users can regain access on their own, reducing wait times and lowering support overhead.
Usage analytics
For customers with access to Founda analytics offering, usage analytics are now available, consolidating operational metrics across the environment into a central view.

Teams gain clear, self-service insight into how the platform is being used — document and image exchange volumes over time, activity per connected partner, and document-type breakdowns, all filterable by time period. This supports data-driven decisions, higher adoption, and ongoing improvement of interoperability and data availability across the network.
Defect Fixes
Germany
- Access-control rules for audit actions now enforced correctly: Resolved an issue where access-control policies covering audit login and audit-log read actions were not applied when users signed in via OIDC, which could allow access that should have been restricted. These rules are now correctly evaluated and enforced.
Netherlands
- Improved Integration Engine (previously forConnect) stability under heavy imaging load: Fixed a memory issue where processing several very large imaging studies at the same time could gradually exhaust memory and lead to Integration Engine (previously forConnect) becoming unavailable. Large DICOM studies are now handled more efficiently, improving reliability for high-volume image exchange.
